    The Extec Labcut® RTR is a hybrid CNC routing and milling system designed to deliver unmatched accuracy and surface finish when preparing composite material specimens. It features a fully enclosed machining environment, intuitive control system, and is capable of producing a wide range of high-precision test samples including “dog bones” and open-hole compression specimens.

    The Extec Labcut® RTR is a hybrid CNC routing and milling system purpose-built for cutting highly accurate composite material specimens with unmatched surface finish and dimensional control.
    Engineered for demanding applications in aerospace, defense, and materials testing, the Labcut® RTR supports composite panels up to 1200 × 1200 mm with a maximum cutting depth of 50 mm (subject to tooling). A fully enclosed machining environment, high-speed spindle, and flood coolant system with bag filtration make it ideal for cleanroom and high-spec environments.
    Delivered as a complete solution, it includes a suite of machining programs, tooling, and fixturing for rapid setup and repeatable test-specimen production. Whether cutting dog bones, open-hole specimens, or custom geometries, the Labcut® RTR delivers precision, safety, and efficiency—straight out of the box.
